Wouter is a dutch-german writer, director and artist based in Munich. In 2024 he finished his studies in film directing at HFF Munich with the historical comedy-drama Sturm & Drang. In 2019 Wouter was holder of the the scholarship “Stipendium Medienkunst der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München, ermöglicht durch die Kirch Stiftung und Frau Regina Hesselberger” with the project Thank you for the Honey!. Before going to film school Wouter worked as a curator, writer and editor together with art historian Prof. Rainer Crone with whom he curated several exhibitions on photographs by Stanley Kubrick. From 2006-12 Wouter studied Comparative Literature und Philosophy at LMU Munich and UVA Amsterdam. Wouter published books on the arts and has held seminars on dramaturgy and film at HFF Munich and the Deutsche Schülerakademie. Wouter is represented by Midpoint Agency.
